Sponsorships are available -- and registration is now open -- for the 16th Annual Bergen Bike Tour, which will be held on Sunday, September 25. Proceeds from the event benefit Tomorrows Children’s Fund at Hackensack University Medical Center and the Volunteer Center of Bergen County.
This unique family-oriented event, headquartered at Darlington Park in Mahwah, features cycling routes of 10, 25 and 50 miles through some of Bergen County’s most scenic areas followed by a festive home-cooked barbeque with fun and games for kids. Sponsorships begin at $500, and corporate sponsors at the level of $1,000 or may register unlimited number of employees at no extra charge. Plus -- the company’s logo will be featured on the sturdy long-sleeve t-shirt distributed to every rider and volunteer. TD Bank has already signed on as Kids’ Event sponsor, which features a Kids’ Ride for children under 10 plus crafts, activities, games and prizes.
“Each year, the Bike Tour turns over an average of 80% of the proceeds to the Volunteer Center and Tomorrow’s Children, a rate that far surpasses most events of this kind, and we are very proud of our philanthropic efficiency. Sponsorships allow us to keep expenses low and give the maximum amount to our charities.
