The Volunteer Center, in partnership with other non-profit and government organizations, businesses, communities of faith and educational institutions, is developing an exciting new program - Bergen LEADS. The goal of Bergen LEADS is to develop strong, visionary leaders in Bergen County by engaging emerging and existing leaders in a variety of learning situations that focus on community issues, leadership skills and trusteeship. The project is being guided by an advisory panel of distinguished community leaders.
The Redlich Horwitz Foundation has offered The Volunteer Center a challenge grant. They will match dollar for dollar all donations up to $31,250, which represents half of the start-up costs.
